

Waterville - Theresa Vashon Caron Fortin, formerly of Morrill Ave. passed away on to her heavenly home on Friday March 15, 2013 while living at Mt. St. Joseph. Theresa was born in Waterville and was educated in the local schools and was a homemaker for her entire life.
Theresa is predeceased by her parents, Placide and Josephine (Roderique) Vashon, her first husband Lionel Caron, her second husband Gerard F. Fortin, her three brothers and two sisters. She is survived by two sons; Lionel Reggie Caron and his wife Connie of Florida, James Caron of Waterville and her two daughters; Sr. Colette Caron of Waterville and Celeste Dickey and her husband Randy of Clinton.
In 1963 Theresa married Gerard Fortin and she bacame the step-mother of three daughters and a son; Cherene Boyer and husband Dennis of Florida, Gisele richards and husband Greg of Vermont and Mary Dyer and husband Philip of Georgia, and Guy Fortin of Bungham, a niece and two nephews along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Norte Dame Catholic Church on Thursday, March 21 at 11:00 am. A private internment will occur at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
