Victoria L. Cross

Victoria worked at Maine Medical Center for many years until her retirement. Her greatest joy in life was Cruising; she was a Gold Member. Victoria enjoyed flower gardening and vegetable gardening, quilting and sewing. She loved birds and feeding her wild rabbit. Victoria could be found daily reading her newspaper from front cover to back. She was a loving and devoted spouse, mother and grandmother; and a best friend to her daughter Anita.

She is survived by her beloved companion Charles “Chuck” Dorr of Sidney, her 3 children; Anita Adams of Sidney, Jeannette Herrmann of NC, and Raymond Simons of NH, 5 grandchildren; Joseph Mathieu, Alec Frost, Amanda Lee Herrmann, Myiah King and Alyssah King, 3 great grandchildren; Breckin Mathieu, Peyten Frost and Trenton Hastings, and a special niece Tina Mahaney and by her two dogs, “the kids” Suki and Woobie, and grand-dog Juno.

At her request there will be no public services at this time, a celebration of her life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Waterville Area Humane Society 100 Webb Rd. Waterville, ME 04901.
