Benjamin E. Ziarno, age 98, formerly of Reading Center and Dundee, born in Passaic, NJ on July 29th, 1921 passed away on Tuesday, October 15th, 2019 at Seneca View Skilled Nursing in Montour Falls, NY. He had worked for Harding Brothers for 28 years, International Salt Company, and had been a security guard at Bendix and the NYS Fire Academy in Montour Falls. Benjamin is survived by his daughter, Kathleen Ziarno; sons, Robert and Richard Benjamin Ziarno; as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren.

There will be no prior calling hours or service. Urn interment will be at the convenience of his family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his memory to Seneca View Skilled Nursing, 220 Steuben St., Montour Falls, NY 14865.

Oh my lord grandpa I miss you so so much, I remember when you bought me my first car. You bought me a Galant I loved that car so much, than you went and got my four wheeler. I remember you coming out and yelling at us kids for riding in the lawn... You used to take me to the State Pool every week. I always had a blast going to the pool. than we would go to Burger King for lunch, I miss you so much grandpa till I see you again

You are the greatest grandpa and I love you very much. You were always there when I needed you. You always told me to never ride the four wheeler in the rain or when it was wet. You always made sure the grandchildren were always taken care of. One of my favorite dinners was the shake and bake you made. Rest in peace grandpa. I love you.

Growing up with you being my father was amazing. I was so thankful for the places you took me and my brother's as kids and the time you spent with us kids and mom, Than one day I had children Andy Ziarno, Christina Liller, Gerald Liller Jr. Mike Ziarno. I can not thank you enough what you did for my kids. I will always love you dad. Please tell mom that I love her and miss her, and my grandparents, I pray that all of you watch over me and my family. I miss you so much already dad fly till I see you again
