Dominic was the best teacher Watkins Glen ever had. I took shop under his guidance and he formed me and many other students for the work and outside world they would face. He will be missed by many.

Though I was very little - I will always remember Anna (and Nick) babysitting me and eating mini-colored marshmallows at their kitchen table for a snack. I knew even years later if I stopped in to say hello I always got a friendly welcome - and sometime some mini marshmallows too! Here is to a great Eighth Street neighbor and community member.

Mr Giambo had large presence to the entire community. Not just because he was a teacher or a family friend but because of his bright and beaming nature. What a wonderful man and great person to know. My heart goes out to the entire family. Hugs to you Bob.

My deepest sympathy to the Giambo family in the loss of Mr. G a great teacher community member who worked to make the Village a better place and most of all a true friend. Over 50 plus years Prof or Mr. Giambo became a close friend and he always would bust me about something especially when I was Mayor but a big supporter of mine. We had fun doing scratches offs he won I lost.I will miss him greatly God bless. Bob Lee

Mr. Giambo was always a great presence when I was a student in high school. He was all that made up a excellent teacher. I knew his son David in High School who was a lot like his father, and displays the same excellent qualities. I was very lucky to be able to call Dave a friend and very lucky to be attending Watkins Glen High School in the sixties and seventies when his father was a teacher. I am very sorry to hear of his Dad's passing.

To the Giambo family:

When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure. May the wonderful treasures fill your hearts with love and bring you peace. I hope the promise in Hosea 13:14 can bring much comfort. Just knowing that there's a hope for the ones we loss in death can be so reassuring. My sincere condolences to all.

I'm so sad to read of the passing of Dominic Giambo. For many years he was my school bus driver and always made the ride to and from school fun. My fondest memory was of him singing 'Isle of Capri". Rest peacefully Mr. Giambo.
