Wilma Elaine Denniston Langley Edwards passed away on Saturday, December 8th, 2012 at Seneca Nursing Home in Waterloo. Wilma was born December 28, 1924 a daughter of the late Iva and Paul Denniston in Scio, NY. A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Saturday December 15, 2013 at the Geneva Christian Fellowship, 845 Rte. 5&20, Geneva.
Wilma grew up in Pultney, NY and graduated from PennYan Academy. She worked as the executive secretary to the Director of Willard State Hospital for many years until her retirement. Wilma and her husband Frank G. Langley had four children. Frank predeceased Wilma in 1976. In 1985 Wilma married John S. Edwards.
Survivors include her sister Ann Denniston of Rochester, NY; two sons, Frank Langley of Naples NY and Jack (Bonnie) Langley of Ovid NY; two daughters, Linda (Doug) Shupe of Berthoud, CO and Karen (Allen) Larsen of Waterloo, NY; four stepdaughters, Doralee (Allen) Lackey of Holley, NY, Janet (Bill,deceased) Schutt of Roseville, MI, Sharon (Jan) Seinkner of Satellite Beach, FL and Sandra (Al) Horine of Vestal, NY; 9 grandchildren, 7 stepgrandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
Wilma was preceded in death by her first husband Frank G. Langley, her second husband John S. Edwards, her brother James Denniston and a stepdaughter Susan Cordon.
