Gordon Lee VanDomelen

On Saturday, September 2, 2023, Gordon Van Domelen went to be with his Lord and Savior at the age of 90. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Helen Van Domelen; children Timothy (Rosemary) Van Domelen, Thomas (Candee) Van Domelen, and Jeffrey Van Domelen; grandchildren Sarah Van Domelen, Julie Van Domelen (Scott Fleming), Genevieve Van Domelen (Drew Nelson), Christopher Van Domelen, Jonathan (Sarah) Van Domelen, and Kathryn (Kyle) Ritsema; great-grandchildren George Fleming, Juniper Van Domelen, and Avery Ritsema.

Gordon graduated from Grand Rapids Junior College, Michigan State University - where he earned his teaching certificate - and the University of South Dakota - where he received his MBA in mathematics. He taught for 30 years at Kelloggsville High School in Wyoming, MI, where he coached football and basketball. He was a member of Gun Lake Community Church. Gordon was a proud member of the Michigan State Alumni Association.
