Beloved husband of 57 years to Audrey Rose. Dear father of Cheryl (Gordie) Stewart and Carol (John) Barbosa. Also survived by one brother, Carl (Dorene), sister- in –law Marge Klopshinske and brother-in-law Fred Mouch.
A graduate of Wayne High, he enlisted in the Navy Air Corps in Jan. 1944. He was a proud WWII Veteran and Plank Owner with his ship, the USS Midway CV-41. He was with Wayne County Engineering as a Project Supervisor and volunteered 8 years with the Wayne Auxiliary Police. He belonged to St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Westland.
Family requests memorials to the church, Wayne High Alumni Assoc., or the USS Midway Museum.
Visitation Thursday 5 pm until the time of service at 6 pm at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home 34567 Michigan Ave. in Wayne.
