Barry was a proud Vietnam veteran who served his country with honor. Following his military service, he dedicated many years to Ford Motor Company, where he worked as a millwright until his retirement.
Above all else, Barry cherished his family. He loved spending time with his daughter, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, creating memories that will be treasured for generations. His happiest days were spent at his beloved lake house in Houghton Lake, where summers were filled with family, laughter, and lasting memories. He also enjoyed bowling with his friends and valued the friendships he made throughout the years.
Barry was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Virginia Pack; his son, Jamie Pack; his granddaughter, Jessica Pack; his parents, Sammy and Emma Pack; and his brother and sisters, Jimmy, Wanda and Judy.
He is lovingly survived by his daughter, Kim (Mike) Fick; his six grandchildren, Amanda (Travis) Williams, Brittany (Bill) Pratt, Ashley (Mitchel) Jacqmain, Danielle (Bryce) London, Heather Pack, and Brandon (Nicole) Mudry; and his nine great-grandchildren, Emma, Blake, Dustin, Bowen, Thomas, Isla, Mackenna, Vaeda, and Scottie.
Barry will be remembered as a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose greatest joy was his family. His strong work ethic, generous heart, and love for time spent at the lake and with family and friends will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. Though he will be deeply missed, his legacy of love and dedication to his family will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
