Carl it's been almost a year since you left us and it still feels like yesterday.  My life is so full of  pain,, you do not know how much I need you, there is so much going on in my life right now. I know you were always the one person that could make things better no matter what the circumstance was. The things I've had to go through this past year are unbelievable. I keep trying to believe and tell myself that you are right by my side through it all and guiding me.  I know how much you loved us and would not want me to be in so much pain, but Carl that is so hard cause your not here with me and I miss you and love you so much. Thank you for being the best husband , father and friend to so many.

Carl what can I say that I haven't already said. I need you so much you always stood by my side and helped me through so much. I'm just existing this world is so messed up and you were always the one I could count on. My life is so empty  this hurts me everyday. Nobody will ever understand , I don't wish this pain on anyone. the holidays came and went this year and i couldnt help but think about you when we went to english gardens to pick out our tree every year and you were always there with us when i was growing up, its odd to think that will never happen again, i will always think of you around the holidays christmas eve at my house with you guys decorating eating dib pizza just hanging out and having a reat time. im so happy we have you on video so i can see and hear youwhenever i want. i miss you carl i hope i see you again one day but until then i will keep your memory alive

I am so lost without my husband and best friend. I just can not believe this is happening to us. I miss you so very much. I'm just thinking about you like I do everyday. I'm still hurting so much.and miss you terribly. The days/nights are so long it's never going to be the same they just drag. I'm missing you so much.  My life will NEVER be the same.  You loved life, your friends and your family so much. The pain is so extreme and I have to relive it every single day. but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

 That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
 God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

 It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.

There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

 God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not  be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;

Dad man I still can't wrap my head around u being gone I'm still in shock. I know I can get trough this cause I had u as a father but man it's hard I'm destroyed each day. I wake up thinking I'm gonna see you on the iPad or watching tv I miss you more and more each day. I made a promise to you I will always keep to be there and take care of mom for you.

My loving husband, I am having such a hard time I think about you constantly and miss you and love you so much. My life is so incomplete half of me is gone. We were always inseperable. Why you were taken away from us I will never understand. I feel so cheated we had so many dreams.  The loss of you hurts so much I don't think anybody will ever understand the extreme pain I feel. 

You are such a kind hearted person and have the ability to connect with people and everyone you came in contact with loved you. This world and my life will never be the same. I have lost not 1 person but 2 my husband and my best friend.

Jacqui- when Mike told me of Carl's passing it felt like a light went out. The profound loss felt by those who love Carl is compounded because he LIVED life with such love, laughter & genuine kindness. People often say it but Carl truly meant it when he said "come anytime!".  Although we weren't able to spend as much time together as we'd have liked, each time gave such good memories & stomach-splitting laughter. Whether watching Mike waterski behind the boat, hanging @ the marina or just grabbing a bite somewhere, the time was always comfortable & light. We connected. You & Carl were blessed with a gift for people & I hope you know how precious that is.
There are no words to take away your raw pain but please know you & Justin have been in my thoughts & will continue to be. My heart literally aches for you as Carl was simply better than most. He is now in a place where every day is a perfect day to be on his dream boat! Warm sun & cold drinks are waiting for the rest of us.

Carl I will miss you greatly a good portion of my happiest childhood memories involve you and Jacqueline.  You were so good to me as a child I remember you helping decorate my house many Christmas' and how hilarious it was when you got the Bart Simpson shirt in the secret Santa exchange. I remember looking so forward to you guys coming over and going to Capellas and then to Custard Cut for a slushy and I remember you always got a red one with ice cream in it. Every time i was around you I had fun and laughed except for the time you were helping me learn how to drive when I got my permit and tricked me into getting on the express way. I was terrified but I knew you were just trying to help me but I tell you a real car was way harder to drive then that corvet you got me as child. I remember how happy I was to see you at my wedding and how kind and welcoming you were to my husband. All the way up until 2 weeks ago you were still there helping me out to hang blinds in every room of my house and mount the flat screen on my wall. You worked for 6 hours making sure everything was just so, even though it wasn't your house. You will never know how much that meant to me and how greatful I was to have spent that time with you laughing and having fun like we always did, those are the memories I will think of when I remember you. I know your up in heaven making paper pizzas, breakfast sandwiches, and slushies for everyone listening to Kid Rock, and fixing whatever electronics anyone needs fixed. Keep up the laughter and fun loving spirit you had here on earth up in heaven and hopefully it will rain down on those of us who need it most. Thank you for being my family and always letting me know how much you loved me, you will live on in the hearts and memories of everyone you encountered.

I remember i went  my Grandma went outside and checked the tire on my car and the tire was flat and I asked my daughter named Hannah,to see if Justin was home so Carl came over instead and pump the tire up,and told me to get straight to Discount Tire. I told  Carl Thank u very very much. We'll all miss you Carl. We love you Justin and Jackie!!!

Carl, I hope you know how many lives you have touched with your laughter and your way of making every day seem brighter. Like many others I will hold dear to my heart the memories of a life so joyfully lived.

Carl I only knew you for a short while but you were a very friendly funny man. It was evident that you loved Jackie dearly n were soul mates. To my uncle Carl, I truly can't believe that your gone. I'm still in a state of shock, you were such a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. Going to Belleville lake and fishing, making you take me and justin for a ride in the semi truck, staying the night and you making the best breakfast sandwiches in the world for me in the morning, and as an adult being able to hang out with you as a friend, I miss our talks, I miss your laugh but I can hear it in my head and it gives me comfort.
