Became an Angel the morning of Monday, June 7, 2021.
Christy was born May 17, 2002.
My sister was preceded by my grandfather Edward Varbedian, my cousin Joey Andrus, and my grandparents on my father's side, Howard and Barbara Jensen.
Still standing today include myself, Brandon Jensen, my sister Stephanie, David, and Amanda Jensen, my neice, Victoria Paz, my grandmother Sandra Varbedian, my uncles' Chris and Craig, my aunt Tanya, my cousin Jason, and many more.
Christy was attending Cooke School in Northville, MI succeeded by Mrs. Plumber. Christy excelled the most in school, at one point attaining student of the month. During her years she received awards for both bowling and basketball. Christy had the most contagious smile and laugh. She would light up the entire room. Victoria quickly became close friends with Boo as they would do school work together, play around and just have a blast. Perhaps the oddest thing Christy would laugh at was the sound of crinkling paper, which would make every Christmas amazing and filled with joy. Boo loved the show "Hannah Montana", her song "The Climb" was dedicated to Christy, almost immediately. Her favorite place in the world besides home was Mackinaw, including the island and castle rock.
Christy made the best out of every situation. Whilst having a more grounded life than most, Boo was outspoken, full of energy, and a beautiful soul. Boo was the glue that binded our family through thick and thin.
And now with heavy hearts, we say goodbye, you have your wings, it's time to fly.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared in the guestbook below for the Jensen family.
