A proud veteran of the United States Army, Dan served his country with honor and integrity. Following his honorable discharge, he built a long and respected career as a Millwright at Ford Motor Company. His hard work, steady presence, and dedication left a lasting impact on all who worked alongside him.
Dan had many passions—he was an avid coin collector with a keen eye for detail, known for his delicious homemade ice cream, and above all, he had a deep love for animals. His loyal dog, Jack, was his constant companion and a source of great joy in his later years.
He is survived by his loving siblings: David (Ralph), Kevin (TJ), Jim, and Beth Jewell. He was a cherished uncle to Ashleah and Joshua, and a devoted friend to many. Dan was preceded in death by his sister, Debra Corbin Wilson.
Dan's warmth, humor, and quiet strength will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A memorial service in Dan’s honor will be held at a later date.
