Darlene was such a special person! I worked with her at WCPH for many years. She was caring and spoke with soft gentle kindness it made you feel important. She was like a mom in a lot of ways to me at work. I could always go to her. Thank you for always being genuine. I remember her talking about her family and children and she was always so proud! We lost a great lady and I know she is rejoicing in heaven now free from any pain or distress. God bless you my dear friend Darling! You were one of the best! ❤️❤️❤️ Love always Cindy M.

Darlene was one of my dearest friends. You know the one that you may not see or call for awhile, but when you did get together or call you picked up where you left off and never missed a step. We met at Wayne county hospital in the late 70’s and have been friends ever since. She was funny and worked hard all her life. Our memories include births, showers, weddings in our families. She knew my life and I knew hers. We confided in each other and always answered questions honestly. She told it like it was , good or bad. I will miss her and think of her always. My heart aches and may she Rest In Peace.

Darlene will truly be missed. I spent many hours with Dar in the Florida home and we spent a lot of time laughing. Ever need cheering up, Dar was the the one. If I ever needed put in my place she would tell me straight out in what she called her curse words which she did not swear and would make me laugh. Dar never complained and she always appreciated the littlest of things. I will never forget our times and I will be excited to reunite with my friend when that time comes. I know Dar will be watching over many, soar high with the angels and I’m sure you have absolutely beautiful wings. I’ll always Love You 😘
