With hearts full of love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Dolores Villaire Allen-Miller, who left this world on February 17, 2025. Born on September 15, 1955, in Dearborn, Michigan, to Michael Joseph Allen and Helen Marie Connors, Dolores was a woman of brilliance, strength, and boundless love.
Dolores was a gifted mathematician and pursued a career as an engineer with Ford Motor Co., where her problem-solving skills and determination shone. She also worked as a lead marketing analyst. Beyond her professional achievements, Dolores was adventurous and fearless—she skydived, white-water rafted, scuba-dived, and even assisted in flying a plane while she studied for her pilot’s license. She embraced life with an open heart and an unshakable spirit.
On July 25, 1981, she married her beloved husband, Robin, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. Their greatest joy was their daughter, Katie, whom Dolores cherished beyond measure. Dolores was devoted to God and faith was everything to her. She deeply valued the foundation set by her parents, and by her siblings, Veronica, Michael, Christina, and Timothy. She was devoted, protective, and always fought for her loved ones.
Dolores’ faith was her guiding light, and she lived her life with a giving heart, always helping friends in need. She found beauty in creativity, crafting exquisite floral arrangements and writing poetry that touched the soul. She adored jewelry and anything that sparkled, a reflection of the light she carried within her.
A talented cook, Dolores made the best spaghetti with homemade sauce and perfected the art of making rolled grape leaves from scratch. Her warmth, generosity, and fearless spirit made an unforgettable impact on those who knew her.
Dolores will be deeply missed, but her love, wisdom, and adventurous spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her.
May she rest in eternal peace, wrapped in the light she so beautifully shared with the world.
