Born June 16, 1949, in Manila, Philippines, Francisco earned a Bachelor of Science in Commerce from the University of Santo Tomas. He devoted 17 years of his working life to Mazda, serving as an automobile assembler in the Trim and Final Division.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Estrella (née Gonzales); his children Michael (Gigi), Michelle (Keith), and Matthew (Che); grandchildren Jasmine, Ella Grace, Eli Quinn, Bella, and Teo; and sisters Tess, Monette (Jun), and Son. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ignacio and Leticia Liwag, and siblings Danny, Nel, and Gloria.
Francisco’s generosity defined him. He translated genuine care into tangible help—quietly paying bills, donating where others struggled, and seeking out chances to ease someone’s burden. He never sought praise for his kindness; his humility was as constant as it was heartfelt. His philanthropic spirit was woven into every choice he made and every life he touched.
