Born on January 7, 1954, to Florence and John Fedulchak, Jeanette grew up in Michigan with a strong sense of family and community. She graduated from Wayne Memorial High School and later earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Central Michigan University, a proud accomplishment that reflected her lifelong commitment to education and hard work.
Jeanette dedicated much of her professional life to the University of Michigan, working in administrative roles and retiring from the U of M School of Music. She was a loyal and passionate supporter of the university, proudly wearing maize and blue and cheering for the Wolverines as their biggest fan.
Family was at the heart of everything Jeanette did. She was the proud and devoted mother of Brianne (Jerry) Herring and Erin Bierkamp, and the cherished grandmother of Casey Bierkamp, Connor Melcher, Ava Herring, Kamryn Herring, and Mayson Herring. Her joy was found in the simple pleasures, traveling with family and friends, crafting with love, and celebrating the Christmas season, especially her beloved Santa Claus collection. Jeanette's happiest moments were spent surrounded by her grandchildren, making memories that will be treasured forever.
She is lovingly remembered by her mother, Florence Fedulchak, and her brother, Steve (Denise) Fedulchak. Jeanette was a dear aunt to many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, John Fedulchak.
A memorial gathering will be held at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, on Wednesday November 5, from 4:00-8:00 PM where family and friends are encouraged to wear University of Michigan gear or colors in Jeanette’s honor. A funeral Mass will take place at St. Richard Catholic Church in Westland, celebrating her life on Thursday, November 6, 2025 with an instate to begin at 10:30 AM and Mass to follow at 11:00 AM.
