JoAnne Mary Biondi

JoAnne spent many years serving as an administrative assistant for Wayne County Public Schools before retiring. She was a woman of deep faith and a devoted parishioner at St. Mary Catholic Church in Wayne, where she found strength, comfort, and community.

She took great joy in life’s simple pleasures—gardening, tending to her flowers, sewing, and most of all, spending time with her large and loving family. JoAnne’s warmth, strength, and gentle spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

She leaves behind a legacy of love through her children: Mitchell Zerona III, Mark (Susan) Zerona, Jim (Vickie) Zerona, Jeannine (Dante) Rosinski, Thomas (Karra) Zerona, and Gary (Kristin) Zerona; along with many bonus children. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Karliey (Stian) Zerona-Sannerud, Nicholas (Cara Beth) Zerona, Emily Zerona, Carter (Hannah) Zerona, Madison Zerona, Mattina (Roberto) Merucci, Corinne (Samuel) Stahl, Tessa Rosinski, Luke Zerona, Alec Zerona, Rachel Zerona, Ryan Zerona, and Jason Zerona. She is also survived by her brother, Robert (Hildegarde) Gabrys.

She was also blessed with great-grandchildren: Sophia, Owen, Armando, Giuseppe, Dante, Eli, Audrey, and Easton.

JoAnne was preceded in death by her beloved parents; her husband, Patrick Biondi; her sister, Mary (John) Bozelak; and her brother, Richard Gabrys. JoAnne also shared many wonderful years with her late husband Patrick and was a loving bonus mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to his extended family.
