She earned many teaching awards with pride. She was a very dedicated teacher and loved her students dearly! In 1982, she and Amy moved to Brownsville, Texas to pursue her dream of being a teacher. Boy, was that an adventure! They ended up back in Michigan 24 years ago to be close to her family. Mary loved her family so much! She loved being with them, reading and going on many vacations to places, such as : Aruba, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Michigan and the US. She also went on many cruises. Mary was a devout Christian. She spread the word of God to so many people. We all know that she is with our lord and savior, God. She is in heaven with Him and her loved ones that preceded her in death. Mary loved everyone she came into contact with, her family and pets. I can just see her standing up straight, walking her dogs and singing His praise and flapping her wings. On Thursday April 28, she drew her final breath. Her daughter Amy was right beside her.
