Merwyn William Simpson

Merwyn William Simpson passed away May 7, 2018 at the age of 100. Husband of the late Doreen and dear friend of Rose Simpson. Loving father of Carol Simpson and Debbie (Leo) Sherling. Beloved grandfather of Gail, Jimmy, Kevin, Brandon, and Julie. Dear great-grandfather of Tegan, Kyle, Jaiden, Jozlynn, Arbor, Casey, and Addison. Brother of the late Roberta and the late Jean.

Merwyn was a proud veteran of the US Army during WWII. He retired from Ford Motor Company. He also loved playing bingo with friends.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 19 at 1pm, with gathering beginning at 12pm, at Harry J. Will Funeral Home 34567 Michigan Avenue in Wayne. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
