Michael Peter Paul Giuliani (Mike) of Wayne, Michigan passed away on July 23, 2023 at the age of 75. He was born on September 21,1947 in Detroit, Michigan. Michael grew up in Dearborn Heights, MI attending Robichaud High School. Upon graduation, Michael valiantly served his country when he was called to duty during the Vietnam War.
For his duty and bravery he was awarded: VIETNAM SERVICE MEDAL W/3 BRONZE SERVICE STARS; REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM CAMPAIGN MEDAL; NATIONAL DEFENSE SERVICE MEDAL; SHARPSHOOTER (RIFLE).
As a veteran, he became actively involved in the VFW — Veterans of Foreign Wars where he represented his Post as an Honor Guard member in the 1980s and 90s. In his later years, he could be found at the VFW and the Knights of Columbus where he was known to shoot a mean game of pool.
More importantly, as a man, he was the epitome of strength. He loved hard and fiercely. If you were ever lucky enough to get one of his hugs, you know what I mean.
He is preceded in death by his parents Alvar Giuliani and Grace Valmassoi (Leo). He is survived by his five loving children: Nicole Ford (Eric), Christina Giuliani, Kyle Tolliver (Ashley), Kristen Hawver, and Katelynn Giuliani. He is also survived by his five grandchildren: Sophia and Dylann Ford, Bella and Brayden Toliver, and Alexis Stempien.
Michael P. Giuliani will be laid to rest at Great Lakes National Cemetery on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at 10:30am.
