Ronald Dugas born in Detroit, Michigan on May 7th, 1933 passed away at the age of 85 on April 11, 2019. Beloved husband to Joan Dugas for 65 wonderful years. Proud father of Gerard (Terry) Dugas, Gerylann (Blair) Arden, Christopher Dugas, Rose (Kenneth) Ortiz, the late Paul Dugas and the late Mary Ellen Dugas. Cherished grandfather of Marc, Alessandra, Samantha, Kenny, Benjamin and Bentley. Dear brother of the late Donald and Jacqueline. Ronald will be deeply missed by many nieces and nephews.

Ronald’s presence could light up a room. He was a quite the prankster and loved to make people laugh. He enjoyed his pool parties and entertaining friends and family. Ron was known as a caring, kind and genuine person. He was always there to help when you needed it; whether it was helping neighbors clear their snow or clean up their yard, he was always there. He was a very hard worker and enjoyed gardening. Ron was a devoted member of St. Mary Cause of Our Joy Parish for many years. His family will deeply miss his sense of humor and quick wit.

Visitation for Ronald will be Sunday April 14, 2019 from 2-8pm at Harry J. Will Funeral Home in Wayne. A Funeral service will be held at St. Mary Cause of Our Joy Church on Monday April 15, 2019 at 12pm. Final resting place for Ronald will be at Cadillac Memorial Gardens West Cemetery.
