

Veronica Ann Wolnosky, born on May 11, 1929, in Sharon, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2025, at the age of 95. Veronica’s life was a testament to love, generosity, and resilience. At the age of two, she moved to Michigan, where she spent the majority of her life before relocating to Florida at 60, following the passing of her second husband. She continued to work until the remarkable age of 84.
Veronica was a woman of elegance and grace, known for her love of ballroom dancing and her impeccable sense of style. Her closet was always filled with beautiful dresses and shoes, reflecting her vibrant personality. A devoted Christian who prayed daily, Veronica’s faith guided her life. She was a tireless worker, balancing a full-time career with her passion for maintaining a spotless home. Her love for her family, especially her grandchildren, was boundless.
Veronica was preceded in death by her first husband, Sigmund Drewno, her second husband, Ervin Wolnosky, and her brother, Gerald Zula. She is survived by her loving children, Diane (Jim) Wiley and Gerald (Valerie) Drewno, as well as her cherished grandchildren: Amy (Beau) Dietz, Brian (Amy) Drewno, Lisa (Joe) Baker, Lauren (Constant) Young, Haley (Joe) Agy, and Jennifer (Patrick) Maloney. Veronica’s legacy lives on through her adored great-grandchildren: Benjamin Dietz, Elsa Dietz, Aiden Drewno, Elizabeth Drewno, Levi Agy, Aliza Agy, Charlotte Agy, Addalyn Baker, and August Baker.
A memorial service will be held in her honor on June 14, 2025 at 10 a.m. at Harry J. Will Funeral Home in Wayne, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Community Hospice in Jacksonville, Florida, in Veronica’s memory. https://thefoundationcares.org/give/
