

Walter Charobee, III, age 63, passed away at his home in Taylor, Michigan, on Monday, January 20, 2025. Born on October 18, 1961, in Hamtramck, Michigan, Walter lived a life full of dedication to his family, his career, and the passions he loved.
He is survived by his beloved son, Walter Thomas Charobee; daughter, Tabatha Charobee; and grandson, Dominic Quintanilla. Walter is also survived by his loving mother, Irene Charobee, and his three siblings: Juliana Bright, Dora (Carl) Eversole, and Maralene (Larry) Jones. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Charobee, Jr., and his sister, Kathleen Charobee.
Walter spent over thirty years in the HVAC industry, most notably working at Air Flo Cleaning Systems, where he started as a technician and worked his way up to supervisor. His career allowed him the opportunity to travel across the country, and he took great pride in the work he did. In addition to his career in the HVAC industry, Walter was a professional painter for many years. Outside of his professional life, Walter was a man of simple joys. He was a die-hard Detroit Lions fan, never missing a game, and often could be found trying his luck with lotto tickets or enjoying a day at the casino. A lover of good food, Walter especially enjoyed indulging in Mexican and Chinese cuisine.
Walter’s warm heart, infectious smile, and sense of humor will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and cherished memories.
A private family service will be held in his honor. In accordance with his family's wishes, cremation will follow.
