William was a proud veteran and served honorably in the United States Army. He was a retired electrician at Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, Michigan.
William is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Lina Hay. Loving father of Garrett (Bonnie) Hay, Wayne Hay, Kathy (Dave) Zarem, Donna Hay and Linda Hay. Loving "Pops" of 5 grandchildren: Kelli, Bradley, Lisa, Christopher, and Chelsea. As well as 3 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Robert Hay and the late Donald Hay.
