Adrian Carl Rainey

MSGT Adrian Carl Rainey, son of John Wilbur Rainey and Adria Cline Beahm and a 22 year Air Force veteran, died March 19, 2023. He was born on February 25, 1932 and was preceded in death by his siblings, John Rainey Jr, Raymond Rainey, Florence Flowers and Hester Morris. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Jeane Barksdale of 71 years; children, Patricia Sherman, John Rainey, Rebecca Tefft, Carl Rainey, Linda Adams, Bruce Rainey, and Steven Rainey; as well as 26 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on March 25 at 10 am at Holy Cross Episcopal Church Cemetery, Batesville. There will be no formal viewing but friends are invited to visit at his home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
