Alice Jean Gray, 58, of Charlottesville, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2020.

She was born November 11, 1961, a daughter of the late Lewis Atwell and Sylvia Edwina (Moyer) Gray.

Alice was a former employee of Hershey Chocolate of Stuarts Draft.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Rodney Gray.

Survivors include her son, Koty Gray; sisters, Carolyn Nicholls and husband tom, Jackie Estes, Diane Marion and husband Richard and Connie Gray.

She also leaves a number of nieces, nephews and her two precious cats.

Following cremation, a celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Shenandoah Heights Baptist Church by the Rev. Dr. Paul LaPrevotte. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Alice my friend gone way to soon my heart goes out to koty and family you were my best friend all the way through school and beyond our school years .i will always remember all the good times cutting threw the woods picking up ice at Kenny burgers for your mom hanging out downstairs, our rides to school hanging out with Alice Harris /Sue Peters Fly high my friend😢

Connie, I was really good friends with Alice during school & we worked together. We had some good times. And I remember you too. Alice & I stuck together at work all the time & had lunch together. I am sorry to hear of her passing she also knew my brother Dale. My brother passed on 4-30-19 & it is so hard. If there is anything you need please let me know. I had moved to Texas but just bought a home in Crimora, Va. I will always remember Alice as a happy person. You & your family are in my thoughts & prayers.
