
Born January 27, 1933 in Charlottesville, VA he was the son of the late Angus Brent Campbell and Bluma (Thompson) Campbell Frazier.
Prior to retirement, Angus was employed by Sears for 36 years where he worked as an appliance technician. He was a U.S. Navy veteran having served his country during the Korean War aboard the USS Whitehurst as a Gunner’s Mate E3. He greatly enjoyed woodworking and making people laugh.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Maxine Collins and June Chaplin.
Survivors include his loving wife, Judy Miller Campbell of Myrtle Beach, SC; daughter, Sherri Campbell Gazenski and husband, Gary, of Clarksville, TN; two step-daughters, Dana Patterson Palmer and husband, Kevin, of Charlottesville, VA and Jill Patterson Lemery of Cape Charles, VA; grandchildren, Stacy Gazenski Del Castillo and husband, Gonzalo, Gregory Gazenski, Grady Blaine Gazenski, Jacob Rhodes, Nathan Palmer, and Blaire Palmer; great-grandsons, Leonardo and Marcial Del Castillo; and many nieces and nephews.
A private family graveside service with military honors will be held at Wintergreen Cemetery, Old Stoney Creek Road, Nellysford, VA.
There will be no formal viewing or visitation at the funeral home.
