Austin Wayne Keyser

He was born November 16, 1944 in Rockingham County, son of the late Ashby William and Virginia Berry Keyser.

Mr. Keyser was retired electrican with Charles Lafferty and Sons,

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Survivors include his wife, Bettie Keyser; two sons, Grant DeWayne Keyser and his wife Rebecca of Waynesboro. Austin Wayne Keyser, Jr. of Mecklenburg, VA and a step-son, John Franklin Gibson of Dillwyn; one daughter, Cindy Dale Kestner and her husband, Tommy of Stuarts Draft; one granddaughter, Bethany Ann Keyser.

A service will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Thursday in the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Active pallbearers will be DeWayne Keyser, Donnie Woodson, Carson Via, Nelson Graybill, Bill Sawyers and David Whetzel.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Whetzel and Popeye Gibson.

Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes of Waynesboro is handling the arrangements.
