

Barbara was born in Staunton, Virginia to R.D. and Lucille Morris on October 3rd, 1945. She married Herbert E Terrell III in 1965.
Barbara worked as the manager of the Waynesboro North 340 Campground for over 30 years. She was an active member of Wayside Baptist Church in Dooms until her health began to decline. Barbara will be remembered as a woman who dearly loved her grandchildren and always put her family first. She loved going to baseball games or any other local sporting event where she could cheer on her family. She liked to dance, shop, and loved to go on drives on the Blue Ridge Parkway, enjoying her cars.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Barbara is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, Herbert Terrell III of Waynesboro; along with her daughter, Melissa Burnett with husband John of Verona; and her grandchildren, Kaitlin Penny with husband Jacob and John-Mark Burnett with wife Hannah. She is also survived by her great granddaughter, Olivia; as well as her sister, Darlene "Vicky" Moxie; and brother, Raymond Morris Jr with special friend Bobby Morton. In addition, she is survived by her nephew, Ashley Kindig; niece, Ivy Talley; and her faithful K9 sidekick, Otis.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, prior to the service, at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, 618 W. Main St., Waynesboro.
A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes with Pastor Larry Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park, Waynesboro.
Pallbearers will be John-Mark Burnett, Aric Terrell, Austin Montgomery, Watson Lewis, Troy Coffey and Wyatt Coffey.
