
Benjamin was born on September 4th, 1994 to Benjamin George Dailey and Sophia Tonya Blair. Benjamin worked as a general contractor in the area, most recently for a moving company. In his spare time, Benjamin enjoyed playing basketball, listening to music, writing poetry and playing video games. He was fluent in Arabic and had recently taken up golf. Benjamin will be remembered for his giving, cheerful personality. He never met a stranger, and would help anyone in need.
Benjamin is survived by his father, Benjamin George Dailey of Phenix City, AL; his mother, Sophia Tonya Blair of Madison Heights, VA; his sons, Asiah Moriss Dailey and Akeem Dailey; and his siblings, Elijah Dailey, Steven Anderson, Tylaher Dailey and Alondra Young. He is also survived by his chosen brother, Laron Fleming, his aunt and uncle, Krystal and Tay Banks; numerous nieces and nephews; a friend group too numerous to count; and his canine sidekicks, Ace and Boss.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted on Saturday, July 11th, 2026 at 1:00 PM at St. James Baptist Church (1094 Albermarle Ave, Waynesboro). In addition, a candlelight vigil will be held on Monday, July 6th, 2026 at 6:00 PM, at North Park in Waynesboro.
