

Beverly was born to Edward Rodgers and Jane Irwin Rodgers on November 25, 1950 in Frankfort, IN, the 3rd of 4 Rodgers Sisters, and the oldest of a set of identical twins.
Beverly graduated from Clinton Prairie High School in 1969 and graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Education. After graduation she married her high school sweetheart James Curtis Holloway, on June 16, 1973. Bev and Jim had many adventures pursuing Jim’s Naval Career. They lived in Idaho, California, Hawaii, Connecticut, Virginia and Rhode Island. As Jim pursued his career as a submariner Beverly worked as a California Winery Representative, Special Education Teacher, Historic Breakers Mansion Tour Guide, Home Economics Teacher, and Adult Ministry Leader of Lynnhaven United Methodist Church.
Bev was funny, quirky, positive, and up for anything. She skied, windsurfed, hiked Mount Fuji, ran multiple marathons, traveled extensively, and was one hell of a cook. She was always volunteering for assorted causes that she cared about. Most of all she was an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother.
Beverly was preceded in death by her father and mother.
Beverly is survived by her husband of 51 years Jim Holloway, her daughters Cheryl (Andy) Tutwiler of Mount Sydney, Virginia, and Gayle (Justin) Marsh of Tampa, Florida, and her grandchildren Erin, Ashley, Reid Tutwiler and Ryan and Anna Marsh. Additionally, Beverly is survived by her three sisters Jane Telander of Wimauma, FL Susan Robey of Lafayette, IN, Barbara Johnson of Springville,IN, and countless in laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Per the immediate family’s wishes there is no funeral service planned at this time. In lieu of flowers please donate in her name to The Nature Foundation at Wintergreen.
