
She was born on June 7th, 1949 in Waynesboro. She was the daughter of the late Roy Alexander Fisher and Willie Mae Kirby Fisher. She was employed by DuPont where she worked in Payroll and Keypunching until her retirement in 1985. She loved dancing and having a good time. She also loved to travel, especially to Graceland, and everyone that knew Brenda, knew that she was a huge Elvis fan.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Roy F. Fisher; and two sisters, Joan D. Puffenbarger, and Patricia A. Cash.
Brenda is survived by her daughter, Kelly Denise Claytor of Hampton; a granddaughter, Sarah Briana Jane Kelley of Richmond; a sister, Marjorie Terrell of Waynesboro; as well as a number of nieces and nephews; a special niece Lisa Landes; a son, Jason; and grandson, Jared.
A special thank you to the Doctors and Staff at Augusta Health, and to the Staff at Augusta Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. There will be no viewing or services.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Home of Waynesboro, and Park Lawn - Wood Funeral Home of Hampton.
