

Born July 19, 1969 in Lake Orion, Michigan he was a son of Mary C. Evinger of Florida and Edward G. Burns.
Brian was owner/operator of Brian’s Installation, having installed carpet throughout the Augusta County area and beyond. He will be remembered for his relentless work ethic, his hobby of restoring automobiles and most importantly his love for his children and family.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William H. and Mary Cook.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his companion of 20 years, Lisa P. Bennett; daughters, April Nicole and Brianna Leigh Burns, both of Crimora; step-daughter, Crystal Renee McCray of Crimora; step-son, Joseph Palson of Waynesboro; brother, Ed Burns of North Carolina; half-brother, Bob Lauber of New Jersey; sister, Joanne Gonter of New Jersey; half-sister, Debbie Cocchio of New Jersey; grandchildren, Savannah Bennett, Liam McCray and Daphne McCray.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 2, 2011 at Holly Memorial Gardens in Charlottesville with Pastor Ray Deese officiating.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 1, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
