

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our angel, Brittany Jean Comer, on February 25, 2025. Brittany passed away on the morning of her 31st birthday. She was a cherished mother, life partner, daughter, sister, niece, and friend.
Brittany entered this world on February 25, 1994, in Waynesboro, Virginia, to her birth mother, Norma Jean Lovo.
She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd Snow; her paternal grandparents, Marie and Elwood “Junior” Goolsby; her maternal grandparents, Frances and Ted Comer; and her maternal aunts, Linda Comer Kirkpatrick and Carolyn Bennett.
Brittany is survived by her life partner, Michael Brown, and the loves of her life—her beautiful daughters, Chloe and Caylee. She is also survived by her birth mother, Norma Jean Lovo; her brother, Thomas “TJ” Comer; and her nephew, Ethan Comer, all of Waynesboro, Virginia.
She is also survived by her mother, Bea Snow of Crozet, Virginia, and her siblings, Christopher (Brandy) Snow of Crozet and Benjamin “Jamie” (Christina) Snow of Crozet. She leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews with whom she shared a special bond: Chelsea, CJ, Chance, Carrie, Joseph, Kaleb, Kayden, and Kyler, as well as her two great-nephews, Aayden and Aspen. Brittany had a beautiful connection with her cousins Christy, Darrian, Karter, Mike (Melissa), Austin, Madison, Alex, and James, along with many other beloved cousins from the Snow and Comer families.
She also leaves behind a cherished group of aunts and uncles: Jimmy (Lynn) Snow, Raymond (Glenda) Snow, David (Velma Fisher) Snow, Jim (Betsy Salvatore) Snow, and Barbara Heffernan.
Brittany spent her childhood in Crozet on the family farm, where she was always eager to make new friends. She loved spending her summers at the local pool and Mint Springs.
She attended Crozet Elementary, Henley Middle School, Western Albemarle High School, and Waynesboro High School, excelling in her studies and graduating from Waynesboro High School in 2013. With a passion for all things culinary, Brittany continued her education at Woodrow Wilson and graduated from the workforce culinary program in 2015.
Brittany had a remarkable work ethic and made many friends throughout her career. She spent most of her years working at Ruby Tuesday and McDonald's in Waynesboro, Virginia. Most recently, she was employed at Walmart in Waynesboro as a retail lead in the children’s department.
Brittany had a love for planning family trips and had recently visited one of her favorite places on earth—Disney World. Her favorite Disney character was always Tinkerbell. She was always up for an adventure, creating memories with family and friends. Just this past year, she fulfilled a dream of seeing Times Square at Christmas. Brittany’s zest for life was a true gift, as she embraced every moment and lived life to the fullest.
Her passing leaves a deep sadness that is immeasurable, reminding us all how precious life is. Brittany’s infectious smile and positive spirit will always be remembered.
We welcome you to celebrate a life well lived on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at New Valley Church, located at 2124 Davis Road, Waynesboro, Virginia. Brittany’s favorite color was purple; if you feel led to do so, please consider wearing something in her favorite color.
