My condolences to the family. Our daughters went to school together and our paths crossed often and in many ways. Carolyn was a delightful, talented and stylish lady. I'll miss seeing her out and about.

I met Nana 5 years ago . Her granddaughter Emily was my classmate, after becoming my little heart sister. With Emily, my class mate , I also met the rest of the family, Karen and Ryan , Sharon and Steve, Lauren, Grant, Claire, Cody, Max and Hazel. I enjoyed every time Nana was coming to visit Karen who lives close to my house and I was invited to spend time with her and gathering with her family. The memories I have of Nana are the most candid ones of a person of her kind: she was sweet and her voice was welcoming and she always had a good story to tell as all grandmas have. She will be missed in our hearts and memories. May God receive her in His kingdom.

Carolyn and I are fortunate to share two amazing grandchildren. They knew her as "Nana", and they thought the world of her. She was there for so much of their lives. Her passing will leave a big whole in their hearts. Our last visit together was at the eldest’s high graduation in June. We were both beaming with pride. We spent days eating, visiting, playing board games, and watching game shows. It was such a good visit. She was an amazing woman and positive influence in so many lives. I will miss her.

I just could not believe hearing about Carolyn's passing-when Don Coffey asked for prayers at Main Street United Church last Sunday (Sept 5), it was a shock.
I worked with Carolyn at Leggett's in Waynesboro. She was a delight and a beautiful and talented lady. My prayers go out to Carolyn's family in this very sad time. Ron Hiserman

Carolyn was a kind, delightful, beautiful lady. I worked many years with her at Home IV. She was the first smiling face of the morning when I walked in. She always made coming to work a delightful beginning of your day. She loved her family pictures covered her desk. I pray that God comforts her family during this loss but I know she is singing in that heavenly choir and she will always be with you. Gone from sight but the love and memories will always live on within our hearts until we meet her again.

My heart goes out to you, Sharon and Karen on the loss of your mother. Carolyn and I go back a long way to our childhood going to church together at Union Chapel! And then my Sharyn and you Sharon learning to know each other at Blue Ridge! Carolyn went on our bus trips that Larry organized and we always had great fun! Rest in knowing that you will see her again!!

Sharon and Karen, I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. She was a great neighbor/friend to Mom. I can remember walking up the street and hearing your mom singing in the house. May God be with you during this time. I hope His love will give you the peace and strength to get thru the days ahead.

Carolyn had a beautiful voice and a smile to match. She was a joy to be around and to sing with. I know she will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her. Sing with the angels, Carolyn.

This is Wilda Holsinger. I was devastated and grieving beyond words to learn today of Carolyn's passing. I sang with her in the Waynesboro Choral Society, traveled with her, and just this summer attended the Faithful Men concert at Gypsy Hill Park with her and we also went to lunch one day. She was a very special lady and sweet friend. I know how much she loved her family, speaking so fondly of them every chance she had. I know this is extremely difficult for all of you but I'm sure heaven is rejoicing and I am trusting God's grace will sustain you all.
