Cheryl Tompkins-Cash, 48, was born on October 7, 1964 and joined her Heavenly Father February 21, 2013 at her home in Waynesboro. Cheryl married Allen Cash on February 26, 2009. She was a registered pharmacist who fulfilled her lifelong dream of owning her own business, Stoney Creek Pharmacy. As a member of the Motor Maids for many years, she loved riding her Harley any time she could. Cheryl is survived by her husband, Allen Cash; parents, Larry and Juel Tompkins and Shirley and Wayne Landen; siblings, Gail Pauley (Bill), Susan Tompkins, David Tompkins, Yvonne Gonzalez (Rick) and Neal Lawrence (Dawn); four nephews and three nieces. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 25, 2013 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, 618 W. Main St. with Pastor Danny Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery in Afton. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at the funeral home. The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions in Cheryl’s name to a charity of choice. Cheryl was such a brave warrior in her battle with cancer. We have missed her smile and kind nature and have thought of her often since she was no longer at the pharmacy and out and about in our community. She was a beautiful person inside and out. Cheryl and I were more than friends,,,She was someone that I admired for her courage to meet her illness head on....I am so happy that I had the time to take her back and forth to treatments...That was OUR time....I will treasure that time always..I may have lost a dear friend but heaven gained an angel.......Ride on dear friend.....

I had the great honor knowing cheryl. She was a wonderful boss and a great friend. Thank you cheryl for that awesome bike ride on the parkway, we had a great time and that was something she love'd and I am glad that I got to experience that with her.
