Christopher Allen Herring

Christopher Allen “Chris” Herring, 34, of Waynesboro passed away on October 11, 2020. He was born in Charlottesville on July 19, 1986. Chris was a very talented artist and he loved animals. He was a loving father, son, and brother. Left to cherish his memory is his father, Trent Herring, Sr. and wife, Amy; mother, Michelle Trainum and partner, John Belew; fiancée, Sarah Park; children: Caleb, Chandler, and Ryleigh; brothers: David, Trent Jr., and Austin; sisters, Amanda and Jessica; paternal grandparent, Tom and Bertha Herring; as well as several niece, nephews, and extended family and friends. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 17, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes. Those wishing to attend are asked to please wear a facial mask and practice social distancing.
