Cindy Lou Hughes

Born July 28, 1956 in Albemarle County, she was the daughter of the late William M. Hughes, Jr. and Louise (Fox) Hughes.

Cindy was a member of Hebron Baptist Church, Afton. She was a graduate of Nelson County High School. Following high school she was employed as a clerk for Acme Visible Records in Crozet for several years and later babysat children at home for family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Linda C. Campbell.

Survivors include her loving siblings Calvin Hughes, Larry Hughes, Barry Cook, Michael Cook and Patricia C. Pugh; special devoted aunt, Effie Critzer; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, September 23, 2013 at Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery, Afton with Rev. Richard McDowell officiating.

There will be no formal viewing or visitation at the funeral home.
