Cynthia Ann Edwards

Cynthia Ann Edwards, 78, of Waynesboro passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Augusta Health. She was born November 11, 1942 in Massachusetts, a daughter of the late Robert Leroy and Florence (Minor) Eden. Cindy was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Waynesboro and retired as a circuit board technician. Cindy and Tony were married on February 4, 1961. In their 60 years together they traveled and saw much of the US, Okinawa and the Philippines. Cindy enjoyed the Model T trips, camping trips and loved putting her toes in the sand at the beach. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen Faulkner. Survivors include her loving husband, Barnard Tony Edwards; daughter, Donna Miller and husband, Matt of Waynesboro; son, David Eric Edwards of Laurel, Mississippi; three grandchildren, Samantha Blake and husband, Alejandro, Jessica Edwards, Melisa Edwards and six great-grandchildren. Cindy also leaves numerous nieces and nephews. A service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 300 Maple Ave., Waynesboro, Va. Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Matt Miller, Jason Miller, Paul Day, Darrell Landrum and Barry Linke.
