Mr. Peters was born on July 14 1958 in Petersburg, VA and was a son of the late Robert Alvine Peters and Shirley May Fick Peters Hite. Dale was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked as a welder for many years. He enjoyed gardening, being outside, and always worked to provide for his family.
On May 9, 1987 he married the former Cherril Ball who survives.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Peters is survived by his sons, Logan D. Peters and wife Meghan of Waynesboro, Preston R. Peters and wife Kimberly of Waynesboro; a daughter, Angela D. Peters of Waynesboro; grandchildren, Caden Peters, Afton Tiller, Alexander Carter; and his brothers, Chris Peters, Steve Peters, Wade Peters, and Terry Peters.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Sherry Hite.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday June 25, 2022 at 11 AM at Riverview Cemetery with Pastor Billy Coffey officiating.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening June 24, 2022 from 5 until 7 PM at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
