Born December 27, 1987 in Waynesboro, he was a son of Michael Darris Hearn and Cynthia Ann Smith.
Daniel attended Faith Point Christian Center, Waynesboro. He was a man of great faith, was always studying scripture, and was never found without his Bible. Daniel was a poet, a skilled musician, an avid outdoorsman, and loved his children deeply. He will be remembered as a loving son and father, a devoted brother, and a friend to many.
Daniel was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Milton J. Smith, Sr. and Doris M. Smith; and paternal grandparents, Dennis and Rosalee Yamrose.
In addition to his loving parents, survivors include his five children, Sierra Morril, Trinity Hearn, Micah Hearn, Hannah Hearn, and Chloe Hearn; brothers, David Hearn, Shane Smith and Kalvin Smith; step-brothers, Daniel Paxton and Samuel Paxton; step-mother, Wanda Catron; special aunt, Vicki Rose; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A walkthrough visitation to pay your respects will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 22, 2021 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, 618 W. Main St., Waynesboro. Due to COVID-19 and the limit of 10 people visiting at a time, we ask you limit your visit to 5-10 minutes to allow the opportunity for everyone to pay their respects. Masks and social distancing will be required.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Augusta Memorial Park, 1775 Goose Creek Road, Waynesboro with Pastor Marvin Melton officiating. All who plan to attend are asked to meet directly at the cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be his brothers and close friends.
