Darlene,
I don’t even know where to begin. You were more than a great aunt to me. You were like a best friend, a second grandmother and aunt all in one person. If I needed advice you made it known you were there to help. You truly helped made me who I am today! I wish I was able to spend more time with you but I’ll never take what time we had for granted. I treated every time you were at Meme’s this year like it was our last. I could go on and on about what kind of person you were because you were that special to not only me but to everyone around you! Me and Samantha love you more than you’ll ever know and we are really going to miss you! Rest in Paradise Darlene! May you have the biggest snowman collection you’ve ever had! We love you! 💛🕊⛄️

Darlene,,
You were more than an aunt to me, you were like my second mom. I can’t even explain the hole in my heart knowing you are gone. I’m thankful you are healed, but things will never be they same. Sometimes it doesn’t even seem real and then when I think about it, I’m hit with a ton of bricks all over again. Thank you for waiting on me before you took your last breath to heaven. I will never forget that. Thank you for responding to me just minutes before you left when I told you I loved you, and it was ok to go home. I know you knew I was there, and I will forever cherish that. I can’t wait to see signs that you are here with us. Tell Daddy and Nana hello, and that I love them for me. I know we will be reunited again soon, and for that I will sing praise. I know we always giggled when I called you my favorite aunt, even though you were my only aunt. 😊 I meant that. You were always one of my favorite people. From childhood, all the way to the day you went to heaven. Fly High. I will miss you so very very much! Don’t forget to save a place for me. ❤️

Darlene was not only my aunt, but a second mother to me. We used to go to the movies together and we shared the same love for classic tv. She is the reason I’m a big fan of Alfred Hitchcock movies. We used to watch the tv show “Alfred Hitchcock Presents” back when it was on Nick at Nite. I could also talk to her about anything. Noneen... (I call her this when I was little) I’m going to miss you very much. It won’t be the same without you.

Oh how I miss my baby sister so much already. Even though I know she is with so many love ones it’s going to hard not having her to talk to on phone sitting on front porch with going out to eat Bingo and Karaoke at times. Darlene just remember I loved you very much. ❤️❤️

Hey cuz we have been through the good the bad & the ugly in our years. We even had been partners in crime a few times.Losing you so soon has broken my heart. We always think we have enough time another day and in reality we don't. You have always been a special cousin in my life and remembering you will always make me smile. Until we meet again forever in my heart you will be. Love You ..
