David Carroll Kent

David Carroll Kent, 70, of Waynesboro passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Augusta Health. Born February 4, 1951 in Waynesboro, he was the son of the late Randolph Page and Dawn (Quick) Kent. Prior to retirement, he was employed by DuPont where he worked in Lab Services. Following retirement, he moved to Eastlake Weir, FL where he spent his days doing what he loved most: golfing and fishing. He will be remembered as a loving brother, uncle and friend to many. Survivors include his two brothers, Randolph Page “Randy” Kent, Jr. and wife, Jan of Summerfield, FL and Timothy Neil “Tim” Kent of Waynesboro; niece, Adrienne Yvonne Meadows of Belleview, FL; nephew, Randolph Page “Trecy” Kent of Dacula, GA; eight great nieces and nephews; and his beloved beagle, Stevie. Per his wishes, following cremation there will be no formal services. The family would like to give a special heartfelt thank you to Maureen Kelly for her love and care of David over the last several months.
