Deanna Mason Smiley

She was born November 7, 1942, a daughter of the late Andrew Michael II and Effie Virginia (Gayhart) Pawlik.

Deanna retired from the Waynesboro and Augusta County Department of Social Services with over 30 years of service.

She was a member of Smyrna Presbyterian Church and attended Blue Ridge Chapel Church of the Brethren. She was an avid bowler where she was a member of the Tuesday Night League.

Survivors include her loving husband, Allen A. Smiley; sons, Michael Smiley and wife Michelle, Mark Smiley and fiancée Tori Campbell; brother, Mickey Pawlik and wife Brenda; two grandchildren, Matthew Smiley and Haley Smiley.

Following cremation a memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes with Pastor Levi Smith officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 7, 2025 at the funeral home and other times at the residence.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes and Crematory, 618 W. Main St., Waynesboro, Va.
