Don Edwin Cullen

Don Edwin Cullen, 74, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2026 while hospitalized in Charlottesville, VA. He was born June 19, 1951 in Waynesboro, VA to the late Harold Wallace and Kathryn Amanda (Davis) Cullen. Don was married for 51 years to Wanda Yoder Cullen who survives. Their children include two sons, Michael and wife, Jessica, of Arlington, VA; Mark and wife, Ashlie, of Lyndhurst, VA; a daughter, Laura and husband, Brian Henningsen of Greenville, SC. Grandchildren were Don’s pride and joy: Quinn, Cash, Matilda and Ramona.

Don was a graduate of Eastern Mennonite College. He worked several jobs before starting his own business, Classic Auto Body & Paint, where he worked for 40 years. He had a special interest in restoring classic cars and enjoyed golfing, bluegrass music, Clint Eastwood westerns, and sharing laughs with his friends and family.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 22, 2026 at Stuarts Draft Christian Fellowship, 216 Howardsville Turnpike, Stuarts Draft, with Pastor Bruce Swartz officiating. A private graveside service will follow. The family will receive friends in the social hall following the burial. Pallbearers will be Michael Cullen, Mark Cullen, Brian Henningsen, Larry Cullen, Roger Flesher, Skip Moore, Dale Martin, Dewitt Frazier.
