Donald Ray Campbell

Donnie was born May 3, 1947 in TN.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia C. Pangle Coffey and a brother, William E. Campbell.

He was plant manager and retired from the Genie/Overhead Doors in Shenandoah, Virginia, was a veteran of the United States Army, having reached the rank of Staff Sergeant, 101st Airborne Division and served a tour in the Vietnam War from 1969-1970. He continued with the Army Reserves until 1975.

Following his tour in Vietnam he was offered a position in the Officer Candidate School.

He will be best remembered for being the uncle who always bought the best gifts.

Left to cherish his memory is his father, Russell A. Coffey of Winter Haven, Florida; sister, Karen M. Dull of Stuarts Draft; nieces and nephews, Aaron Campbell, Ashley Campbell, Brandon Campbell, Bandi Fretwell, Michael Coffey, as well as a number of great nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.

All services will be private.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Foundation in his name.

The family wishes to give a special thank-you to the officers of the Waynesboro Police Department for their professional and caring assistance during this difficult time.
