Donna Rae (Pangle) Haney

Donna Rae (Pangle) Haney, 71, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 27, 1948, a daughter of the late Ray Arthur and Nannie Lou (Smith) Pangle. Donna was a member of the Harrisonburg Church of the Nazarene, former employee of Leggett Department Store, worked as a travel agent with Shenandoah Tours and was a full time “Mimi” to her grandchildren. Survivors include her loving husband, Garry Haney; son, Joshua Haney and wife, Joy; daughter, Amanda Showker and fiancé, Pat Perkins; two sisters, Debbie Berry and Terry Ervin; grandchildren, Riley Grace “Riley Bugs” Showker, Brady Rhodes Haney, Carly Eileen Haney, Caroline Perkins, Danielle Wilson and Will Perkins; special cousin, Donnie Ray Campbell; special sister-in-law, Connie Jones; special friends, Beverly S. Hite and husband, Kent; Shane Showker, father of Riley Grace Showker; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Following cremation, a celebration of life service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at West Waynesboro Church of Christ, 2212 Cortland St., Waynesboro, with Pastor Adrian Mills officiating. There will be no public viewing or visitation at the funeral home. The family will receive friends at her residence, 709 Oak Grove Church Rd., Waynesboro at anytime.
