Doris Marie Allen

Doris was a homemaker for most of her life taking care of her family. She enjoyed being active in life by going on walks with her dogs and hiking. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Sayre, PA. Doris was a kind and sweet person.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold J. Martin; a brother, Kenneth Allen; two sisters, Charlotte Nichols and Betty Raymond. She is survived by her son, Richard Martin and his wife, Carole Innocent-Martin; grandsons, David Martin and his wife, Shelly and Craig Martin and his wife, Dorothy; great grandchildren, Kaleb Martin, Kyleen Martin, Debbie Martin, Dory Martin, and Cory Martin; nephew, Hollis Raymond; nieces, Kathy Barnes and Peggy Raymond; Mother of her grandchildren, Marjorie Guthrie; as well as many other family members.

A memorial service will be conducted at 3:30 p.m., Friday, February 20, 2015 at Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1000 North Coalter Street, Staunton, VA with Pastor Daniel Darrikhuma and Pastor Harry Britt officiating.

The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the nurses and staff at Envoy of Staunton.
