

She was born in Glasgow, Virginia on August 13, 1933, a daughter of the late Edna Arbutus Claytor and Everette E. Mannon.
She was a graduate of Natural Bridge High School, Natural Bridge, Virginia and Phillips Business College, Lynchburg, Virginia.
She retired after a long career in the banking business, was a member of Shenandoah Heights Baptist Church, and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post 340.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Edwin Earl Mannon.
Survivors include her loving and devoted husband; David Quick of 40 years, her daughter, Deborah Garris (Donald) of Gainesville, Virginia, her son, Timothy Burford (Rhonda) of Staunton, step-daughters; Dianna Yancey (Michael) of Bumpus, Sandra Goebel (Chris) of Elkhorn, Wisconsin, Karen Curry (Keith) of Fishersville; two sisters; Ola Mae Coffey and Juanita M. Rice (Robert), sixteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes by the Rev. Dr. Paul LaPrevotte and Pastor Robert Yancey. Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park.
Active pallbearers will be Mark Curry, Michael Curry, Chase Garris, Chris Burford, Billy Childress, Chris Goebel and Robert Earl Rice.
The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Friday at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
