Dorothy Marie Drummond Riddle

She was born June 4, 1926 in Dade County, Florida a daughter of the late Corbra R. and Clara Hoffman Drummond.

She was a graduate of Waynesboro High School and was a member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church.

She worked for 26 years and retired in 1988 as Assistant Manager from the former Waynesboro DuPont Employees Credit Union, now DuPont Community Credit Union.

She served as an elected volunteer on the Credit Union Board of Directors from 1989 until 2003.

On July 1, 1946 she married Harold R. Riddle who preceded her in death on March 10, 2008.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Anita Riddle Garrison and her husband Roy F. Garrison, a brother and sister-n-law; Ralph W. and Sara Huff Drummond, sister-in-law Alice Via Drummond, and a brother-in-law Harry S. Riddle.

Survivors include two brothers; Charles M. Drummond of Mt. Solon, James E. Drummond of Clarksville, Tennessee, sister-in-laws; Yvonne Riddle Wade of Lynchburg and Gladys Beaver Riddle of Staunton.

A graveside service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Augusta Memorial Park by the Rev. Bill Bearden.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

Those wishing to attend the service may meet directly at the cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
