Bud and I have been friends for years and have become closer friends in the last fifteen years. We spent time visiting, calling each other checking in and he was the best mechanic/plumber I could ever find. He opened his own handyman service and was excellent to work with.
By the way, Bud was a good cook and was quick to share a spoonful of his recipe. His best was Brunswick stew.
Bud was a genuine person, always willing to lend a helping hand, love his family, grandchildren and was a great neighbor to those that lived close by.
He left behind a living family, wonderful friends and two of the best dogs anyone would ever find.
Know we will always miss you, your spur of the moment telephone calls and the great laughs we had.
Rest In Peace, Yiur friend in crime, Jim (Rick) Cook

Buddy was my uncle for many years(since I was 7) He was always so sweet! When they would come and visit us in Glen Allen my Mom would always make a German Chocolate cake(It was his favorite). I haven't seen him in years and I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. He was a good man and will be missed by many!
